HARDENERS/EMERY ABRASIVE AGGREGATES: |
|
A-H Emery is a specially graded form of "Corundum" (aluminum oxide). It is the hardest, natural mineral aggregate available. The A-H Emery shake-on method is unequaled for producing industrial floors that are durable, wear resistant, non-slip, and non-rusting. Recommended usages include dairy and food plants, automotive facilities, distribution operations, cargo handling facilities, and sanitary engineering projects.
A-H Emery A-1 size is a specially graded form of "Corundum", rich in aluminum and ferric oxide. After the diamond, A-H Emery is the hardest natural mineral aggregate, having a MOH hardness of 8 to 9. The A-H Emery topping system is a granolithic concrete overlay that is unequaled for overall durability and possesses non-slip and non-rusting characteristics. A-H Emery concrete toppings are the most wear resistant floors obtainable and are particularly appropriate for Tipping Room floors where both abrasion and chemical resistance are the critical requirements. A-H Emery concrete toppings are ideal for two conveyor lanes, aisles, and heavy industrial production areas (automotive, steel, chemical).
A-H Emery is a specially graded form of "Corundum" (aluminum oxide). It is the hardest, natural mineral aggregate available. A-H Emery grits produce safe, durable surfaces with the greatest economy. The polyhedral shape and hardness of the A-H Emery particles give a non-slip, wear resistant surface. It is extensively used for producing non-slip concrete surfaces in stair treads, ramps, laundries, industrial plants, warehouses, and sidewalks.
A-H Emery "Corundum" and aluminous cement produce concrete toppings and mortars that are needed to withstand high temperatures. A-H Emery-aluminous cement floors are recommended in coke plants, steel mills, high temperature washing rooms, breweries, bakeries, dairies, distilleries, sugar mills, and tanneries. Heat resistant mortars are used in shotcrete and trowel applications for kilns, stacks, and flue linings, as well as corrosion resistant coatings.
A-H Silicarbid is composed of specially crushed and graded silicon carbide. It is the hardest commercially manufactured abrasive. When sprinkled on concrete or epoxy, it produces a hard, slip resistant, sparkling surface. A-H Silicarbid is recommended for sidewalks, ramps, platforms, airport, railroad and bus terminals, and any other area where reflective non-slip qualities are required for safety and eye appeal.
A-H Alox is an abrasive crushed from virgin first quality aluminum oxide ore. A-H Alox contains 95% aluminum oxide and is of extreme hardness, registering 2050 on the Knoops Scale and 9 on the Moh Scale. A-H Alox is recommended for sidewalks, ramps, platforms and other surfaces where non slip qualities are required for safety.
