Spec. 6-1
A-H Acuricon:
A One Step, Chemical Type, Curing Compound That Has Been Extensively Used For Curing, Hardening And Dustproofing Concrete Surfaces. Available Clear Or With Fugitive Dye.

A-H Acuricon is a 35% solution of special 42º Baume sodium silicate combined with penetrating and wetting agents. A-H Acuricon is applied to concrete surfaces to produce water retention in accordance with ASTM C-309. In addition to curing concrete, A-H Acuricon chemically hardens the surface by reacting with the cement binder of the concrete to produce a durable and dustproof surface.

When A-H Acuricon is used in accordance with specifications, it will not interfere with the bond of adhesive applied flooring materials such as asphalt, vinyl or rubber tile, or with properly applied concrete coatings. A-H Acuricon is available either clear or with fugitive dye. The dye is used for identification purposes and disappears completely after exposure to heat and light.

A-H Curing Compound #2 DR: A Dissipating Resin Base, Membrane Forming Curing Compound That Has Been Extensively Used On Interior And Exterior Concrete Surfaces.

In order for concrete to reach ultimate hardness, strength, and durability, it must be properly cured. Concrete that is improperly cured will not develop its optimum properties. On most construction projects it is difficult to provide continuous water curing. The use of A-H Curing Compound eliminates the need for repeated water curing of the concrete.

A-H Curing Compound #2 DR is a dissipating resin base material formulated to meet and exceed the requirements of ASTM C-309 Type 1 (liquid membrane forming compounds for curing concrete). It forms a continuous uniform film that adheres to damp surfaces and restricts moisture loss from fresh concrete. A-H Curing Compound #2 DR is designed to dissipate with exposure to ultra violet light and construction traffic.

Spec. 6-2A    (Go To Top)
A-H Curing Compound #2 WP WB: A White Pigmented Emulsified Resin, Membrane Forming Concrete Curing Compound That Has Been Extensively Used On Interior And Exterior Concrete Surfaces For Maximum Protection.

In order for concrete to reach ultimate hardness, strength, and durability, it must be properly cured. Concrete that is allowed to dry out before the hydration process is completed, will not develop its full physical properties. This is particularly important for concrete surfaces that are exposed to brilliant sunlight. A-H Curing Compound #2 WP WB (White Pigmented) is a positive solution for protecting exterior concrete exposed to bright sunlight and high temperatures. The white coating reflects the sun’s rays and protects fresh concrete against thermal shock at its most susceptible stage. The protection from sun and high temperature results in a concrete that is resistant to premature cracking and spalling.

A-H Curing Compound #2 WP WB is a resin emulsion type curing material. It forms a continuous uniform film that adheres to fresh concrete and restricts moisture loss. A-H Curing Compound #2 WP WB meets VOC (volatile organic compound) levels, and provides relative non-flammability.

Spec. 6-2C    (Go To Top)
A-H Curing Compound #2 DR WB: A Water Borne Resin, Membrane Forming Concrete Curing Compound That Has Been Extensively Used On Interior And Exterior Concrete Surfaces.

In order for concrete to reach ultimate hardness, strength, and durability, it must be properly cured. Concrete that is properly cured will develop its optimum properties. On most construction projects, it is difficult to provide continuous water curing. A-H Curing Compound #2 DR WB eliminates the need for repeated water curing of the concrete. A-H Curing Compound #2 DR WB is a dissipating type curing compound. It chemically breaks down with time and exposure (ultra violet light, construction traffic, etc.), and thus can be used on floors to be covered subsequently with paint, resilient tile, or other finishes.

A-H Curing Compound #2 DR WB is a resin emulsion type curing material. It forms a continuous uniform film that adheres to fresh concrete and restricts moisture loss. A-H Curing Compound #2 DR WB meets VOC (Volatile Organic Compound) levels, and provides relative non-flammability. It is also available in fugitive dye formulation.
