Spec. 7-1
A-H Axpandcrete: A Ready-Mixed, Metallic, Non-Shrink Grout That Has Been Extensively Used For Setting Base Plates And Heavy Machinery, Grouting, Sealing Around Penetrations, And Repairing Concrete.

A-H Axpandcrete A (iron Aggregate) is a combination of clean, well graded, iron aggregates and water reducing, plasticizing, and accelerating agents. A-H Axpandcrete RM (Ready-Mix) is a combination of 1 part A-H Axpandcrete A (iron Aggregate) plus 1 part portland cement and 1 part sand by weight. The metallic aggregates in A-H Axpandcrete expand to counteract the normal shrinkage of portland cement, producing dimensionally stable concrete. A-H Axpandcrete has excellent flow characteristics and easily fills spaces between concrete columns and base plates or foundations and bed plates of equipment. It flows easily around obstructions such as bolt shims, etc., assuring a solid load bearing surface.

A-H Axpandcrete S Hi-Flow: A Non-Metallic, Non-Shrink Grout That Has Been Extensively Used In Many Applications Where Properties Like Extreme Fluidity, Non Staining, Non Rusting, High Strength, Positive Expansion Or Shrinkage Compensation Are Desired.

A-H Axpandcrete S Hi-Flow is formulated with a special blend of selected silica sands, portland cement, pozzolanic plasticizing, water reducing agents, and shrinkage compensating agents. It contains no calcium chloride. This unique formulation produces a grout of high strength and positive expansion from the time of placement. There is no intermediate shrinkage. The development of high early strength provides conformance with CRD-C-621 in only 24 hours. Supplied in ready-mix form, it requires only the addition of water. No other liquids or admixtures are to be added to assure proper performance. A-H Axpandcrete S Hi-Flow has the following uses: installation of machinery and equipment; grouting of column base plates, rails, and anchor bolts; patching floors; grouting precast sections at juncture points; grouting decorative railing; and re-pointing mortar joints and structural cracks.
